The challenge...
The Students’ Association lacked the visibility, relevance and credibility students expected, making it harder to build engagement and a genuine sense of community. We helped reposition it as a true Students’ Union, creating a bold, flexible identity and a more confident way of communicating across posters, social media, events and campus graphics. More than a new look, the brand gave students something they could take ownership of — a visible, credible platform that felt like a real part of student life.
What we did
We repositioned the organisation as a true Students’ Union, creating a bold, flexible identity and a more confident way of communicating. The new brand worked across everything from social media and posters to large-scale campus graphics, while giving students a visible, credible platform they could genuinely make their own.

The difference it made...
The new identity gave the Union a stronger, more joined-up presence across the college, making activities easier to recognise and promote. More importantly, it helped create a genuine sense of ownership — a Students’ Union run with students, for students — encouraging greater involvement and giving its activities more credibility across the student community.
What they thought...
For the students involved, the biggest change was that it finally felt like a real Students’ Union — something they were proud to represent, could use to encourage participation and that had a visible, active place in college life.
Their experience...
“It finally felt like a proper Students’ Union — something we could be proud of and genuinely make our own. The new identity gave us much more confidence to promote what we were doing and get other students involved.”
